Hello everyone! Today I have a Christmas card to share with you made with the Simon Says Stamp Winter Flowers stamp set.
To jump right into the details, I first white heat embossed the two poinsettias and watercoloured them with Daniel Smith Prussian Blue. Then die cut a panel of distress watercolor paper with the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Border die and once again white heat embossed some of the florals included in the stamp set.
I watercoloured the florals using Gansai Tambi White Gold from the Starry Colors set and a bit of the same Prussian Blue.
To make my florals pop I watercoloured the background with Zig light gray real brush marker and lots of water. I added a few splotches of blue and started to assemble my pieces with foam tape.
For my sentiment I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Merry Christmas Script out of glitter paper and adhered it onto my panel. I also mounted my panel onto a glitter cardstock and then everything was adhered onto a standard A2 card base.
As a final touch I added a few Nuvo glitter drops in White Blizzard here and there.
The whole result is very shimmery and glittery and in my favorite colour, so one down for Christmas! Hope to make one in pink too!
I’m entering this card to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes
And also to the Less is More challenge #348: watercolour
Thanks for stopping by!
