Hello sweet friends! So happy to start crafting again! And as I mentioned before, I like this Beautiful Branches stamp set so much that when I start looking at all my stamp sets and try to decide which one to use, I somehow stop on this particular one!

This time I used the eucalyptus leaves that are included in the stamp set. As my base colour I went with Neenah Desert Storm card stock. I first stamped the branch a couple of times, using dark brown ink. Then I started stamping my eucalyptus leaves with mint dye ink. At this point, I had an itty bitty of a problem. My stamped image wasn’t as solid as it was shown on the stamp package. So after stamping it a couple of times (using my MISTI for that), I then turned the stamps upside down and stamped again inking up the back of the stamps. And then I was happy with my eucalyptus branches!

For the sentiment I used these letter stickers I had in my stash. The whole panel was then foam mounted onto a Neenah Desert Storm A2 card base and embellished with a few sequins.

While I had my supplies out, my heart wanted to decorate my very first and new Traveler’s Notebook with these eucalyptus leaves. I can’t even start explaining how excited I am that I finally own a TN. Now all it’s left to do is fill it up with good memories!

Although, I absolutely LOVE concord and 9th stamp sets, I really don’t know what kept me from buying their products. I was really late on this and as a result, the Beautiful Branches stamp set along with the Hello Lovely stamp set was the first two I got. So, I guess this card is appropriate for the Concord and 9th Challenge #17: Use your first C9 set.

Also, since it’s the first time I use these eucalyptus stamps and it’s my very first attempt to decorate my TN, I’m entering it to the AAA cards challenge #106: Quote

That’s all for now. Thanks for visiting and I’ll see you soon!
