Hi friends! Greece is living a national tragedy these days. The wild fires in Attica burned houses, families and forest. I don’t know who is to blame. I just pray for a quick recovery.
Inspired by the colors of the Greek summer, I have a couple of cards to share with you.
Clean and simple design this time. Started by masking the central area with masking tape, then white heat embossed with the MFT Mesh background stamp which Ι then colored with my Zig Clean Color Rear Brush markers.
The cute turtle is from the Simon Says Stamp Under The Sea Animals, colored with Zigs and cut with the coordinating dies.
I used a stitched rectangle die to cut my frame and foam squares to adhere the turtle in place.
The sentiment is also from the same Under The Sea Animals.
For the second card I did a lot of die cutting and coloring. First I dry embossed the Simon Says Stamp Pebbles die on a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock which I then colored with copics in shades of blue. I continued by applying a layer of clear crackle paste over it and let it aside to dry.
I die cut the pebbles from another piece of white card stock and a bunch of blooms using the Simon Says Stamp Hydrangea die. To color the flowers I used Simon Says Stamp Doll Pink and Magnolia inks.
I stamped the sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Vacation Time stamp set in Soft Navy ink and attached the flowers with glue dots. I also added some dots with a white gel pen to the centers of the flowers.
Thank you for stopping by and I’ll see you soon!
