Hello friends! Welcome to my blog! For today’s card I combined three Simon Says Stamp stamp sets and one die.
For the background I stamped one of the images included in the Brush Stroke Messages stamp set with three shades of green dye ink. To be more exact I used inks from the Altenew Tropical Forest Mini Cube Dye Ink Pack.
Then I chose two of the trees from the Simon Says Stamp Color Me Trees stamp set and a sentiment from the Brush Stroke Messages and heat embossed it with Altenew Antique Gold embossing powder.
I continued by die cutting the panel with the Simon Says Stamp Postage Stamp Edge Frame die and to give it the look of a postage stamp I searched through my stash and found this round stamp from the discontinued Simon Says Stamp Circles For The Holidays stamp set. I stamped it in the two opposite corners with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with the same Antique Gold embossing powder.
Searching through my stash, I also found this wood plank piece of patterned paper and it looked perfect for my base. So, I foam mounted the panel onto the patterned paper with craft foam and adhered the whole piece onto an A2 card base.
To embellish my card just a tiny little bit more, I added a few Doodlebug Sprinkles here and there.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you go ahead and search through your stash of stamps, dies and papers to find your inspiration! Have a fantastic day and I’ll see you soon!!
