Hi lovely people! I finally got to play with the adorable Monster Love stamp and die set from Concord and 9th and went kinda CAS for a Valentine’s card.
I started by coloring this cute monster and the heart balloon with copics before die cutting it with the coordinating dies. The colors I used are:
Balloon: R14, R35, R37, R39 and W3
Monster: B21, B93, B95, B97
I white heat embossed the sentiment on the balloon and started working on the background.
Now, for the background I found a stencil in my stash called Hearts Small by Dylusions and I used it to dry emboss a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock. Then trimmed it down to be slightly smaller than a standard A2 card and foam mounted it onto a card base made out of Simon Says Stamp Fog cardstock.
I used foam tape to adhere the monster and the balloon and Lawn Fawn twine to connect the balloon to the monster.
As a final step, I went all over the balloon with Clear Wink Of Stella shimmer pen.
So, I really liked how this turned out and I hope you like it too! Until next time, take care and be creative!
