Hello and welcome back! This lovely sprig stamp set was released last Stamptember as a colaboration between Simon Says Stamp and Altenew. And I love the size and the movement in it.

I started by stamping the image with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock and coloring it with my copics. The colors I used are shown in the following snap.

Then I used the coordinating die to cut it out.

For the background I used another piece of the Modascrap Fly and Scrap patterned paper (you have seen me using it in my previous post here).

My card base measures 4 1/4″ by 6″, so I trimmed the patterned paper to be slightly smaller than that.

I stamped the sentiment, which comes from a tiny stamp set by Altenew called Mother’s Love, with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I also stamped three butterflies using the Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Day stamp set and Magnolia dye ink.

To mount the flower sprig onto the panel I used foam squares and then adhered the panel onto the card base with liquid glue.

With everything in place, I added a few White Nuvo Drops to accent, and went over the flowers with clear Wink Of Stella glitter pen.

I really enjoy making cards for mothers. I think they deserve all our love and appreciation.

I hope you got insired to start with your mother’s day cards. Thank you for stopping by today. Keep crafting and I’ll see you soon!
