Hi friends! Welcome back! You know how it feels when you like a color combo so badly that you want to use it again and again. Now, that’s the case here. I liked this R80s copic combo so much that I had to make one more card. This time I used this cutie from an older stamp set by Paper Artsy called Garden Of Life.
I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a new to me paper Fabriano Bristol 145lb. This paper is smooth and thick and blends beautifully! I’m really looking forward to trying it out with other mediums, such as Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.
Once colored, I fussy cut this sweetie with my scissors and looked through my stash of patterned paper to choose for the background. I had some leftovers from the Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow paper pad that I thought would look lovely accompanying my little girl.
So I stamped the sentiment and a few butterflies on the yellow patterned paper and then I adhered the rainbow strip on top. For the scalloped edge I used the MFT Stitched Scallop Basic Edges Die-namics.
I foam mounted the girl using foam squares and added a few White Nuvo Drops here and there to accent.
Finally, I adhered the panel onto an A2 card base and called it done!
I’m entering this card to the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.
Thank you for spending some time with me today! Keep crafting and I’ll see you soon!
