Hello crafters! As I have mentioned before, I love making images of my own to add to my cards just as much as I like to use stamps. After doing a lot of inspiration research on Pinterest, I used my Sakura Koi watercolor set to draw a beach hut. No fancy drawing or shading. Simply enjoy coloring on a peaceful summer evening.

I added some white highlights with a white gel pen and fussy cut the image with my scissors.

For the background, I die cut a piece of Navy cardstock with the Altenew Watercolor Stripes cover die and adhered it onto a card base made with the same paper.

Then I die cut the words with the help Tim Holtz Vacation Words thinlits and foam mounted everything onto my card base.

So, go ahead and find something that inspires you. And search through your stash, use what you have and have fun!

Thank you for dropping by! Have a wonderful day and I’ll see you soon!

I’m entering this card to the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Travel/Vacation
