Hey there friends! Happy to see you! Today’s card is made with a discontinued stamp set by Simon Says Stamp called Plantiful Puns. It’s a real shame I have this stamp set in my stash for a year or so and never used it on a card. So today’s the day!
I stamped the images from the set with Simon Says Stamp Barely Beige ink and used my copic markers for a no-line coloring.
Here’s a snap of the colors I used:
I continued by fussy cutting the images.
I picked a standard A2 card base made out of Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and white heat embossed the sentiment and a couple of butterflies from the set. Then added white splatters with white gouache and a paint brush.
I also framed the card with a white gel pen.
Finally, I foam mounted the images with foam tape and added some shadow with a colored pencil.
I hope this inspires you to use your stash as much as possible. I’m sure we all have plenty of stamp sets to bring us joy!
Thank you for visiting! Make sure you find some time to do what makes you happy and I’ll see you soon!
