Hey crafters! How you’ve been? It’s been ages since I last posted a card here but with COVID in the family, it wasn’t the easiest thing in the world. Thankfully we all recovered and I’m happy to return to my crafty spot!
We are welcoming a new baby niece today in the family and we are all excited for this little one! So, my first card of the year is for her!
I went for a quite CAS design and used simple supplies. My focal point, the little dress was cut out of a piece of pastel rainbow patterned paper using the MFT Bundle Of Baby Clothes dies. I also used an older (and unfortunately discontinued) but really cute stamp set by Simon Says Stamp called Baby Party Animals, to gold heat emboss my sentiment.
Then I die cut the panel using the MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangles dies and added lots of gold splatters with a paint brush. To embellish my card a bit more, I adhered a few matching sequins and some gold stars here and there.
Finaly everything was foam mounted onto a kraft card base.
Lots of favorite techniques here: die-cutting, CAS design and splattering! So I’m entering the card to the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Favorite Technique.
Thank you so much for visiting! Have a lovely day and I’ll see you soon!
